New Kennedy Blog!

Hey guys!

Just wanted to catch everyone up on what’s been going on lately. The past few months have been filled with excitement, stress, creativity, and travel. I’ve been to New York twice this year for two different reasons. The first time I went for the launch of the new Walmart exclusive tween cosmetic line called geoGirl and performed their theme song for the press. I’m so thankful to be apart of this company, and I absolutely love the make-up! The second time, I went for label meetings, PR meetings, and agency meetings. All the meetings went really well but, the part I enjoyed the most was walking around the city with my Mom, Dave (my manager), and Chris (my internet guru/lawyer).

We went shopping, ate TONS of food, and just had lots of fun. We even went to an all desert restaurant and had some amazing deserts. Overall it was a very productive and fun trip.

Now that I’ve been able to take a breath and spend sometime at home, I’ve been focusing on school and song writing. I wrote an amazing song called “Get Back Up Again” with Molly Reed. It’s about when the world gets you down or you’ve been hurt, get back up again, and push through it so you can see hope on the other side. I’ve also been working on a song called “Blue Skies and Butterflies”. This song has been my way of releasing all my emotions from some stressful situations I’ve been in. The story is about me creating this world around me (the blue skies and butterflies) to distract me from all the pain and stress in the real world. But I realize that someday I have to come back to reality and face my fears and work through stress. I think it’s going to end up being a pretty cool and fun song.

Thank you guys so much for all the support you’ve given me, and I can’t wait for what’s to come. :)

NEW YORK 2011

This past trip to New York was a lot of fun! We went for the launch of Walmart’s new tween cosmetic line, geoGirl, to perform their theme song and my own song “The Best Me.” This is my first time to be the face of a cosmetic line and to be the singer for their song. I love this makeup very much because it’s eco-friendly and everything in it is all natural. So, it doesn’t hurt my skin! During and after the event, it was snowing like crazy outside. Instead of leaving that evening, our flight got canceled, but we finally left the next morning. I had such a great time and I’m really excited about this new relationship with geoGirl. I can’t wait until the next time I’m in NYC!

2010

Hey everyone!

2010 has been such an amazing year thanks to all of you! It's been a year filled with excitement, adventures, and of course music. We launched my new website, let out an E.P, and I turned 13! Woo Hoo! Here are some pictures to show you how amazing my year has been:

If you ask me, this was a pretty eventful year. Thank you guys so much for all the support and love that you have given me and I can't wait for all the adventures that will be happening in 2011!
